Berna DENOYELLE
Enseignante Yoga in english au Centre Ysânanda YogaBorn and grew up in Istanbul, Berna started to practicing Ashtanga yoga in 2002. Since then it was her passion and in 2010 during a trip to Asia, she started to learn more about bodywork, chi, prana, breathing techniques, mindfulness, meditation, the meridians, and massage. The more she learned the more she wanted to share this knowledge, so in 2014 she became a Certified Yoga Teacher in India and started teaching in Istanbul and now in Bordeaux.
She often goes back to Asia, to deepen her knowledge and to enhance her teaching.
Working as a holistic life coach, massage therapist, and as well as a Reiki 3 and an Access Bars® practitioner, her approach to yoga is based on blending movement and breath, cultivating precision and alignment, creating awareness of the now and here with grace.
She teaches Hatha Yoga also regularly in her native language in the Turkish community of Bordeaux.
« For me, yoga is a great tool to harmonize the relationship between our bodies and our minds through connecting to our hearts by conscious breathing, awareness of the moment, and acceptance. »

Martine BOUNET
Enseignante remplaçante au Centre Ysânanda Yoga- AteliersI got introduced to Yoga whilst living in Chicago, US back in 1997 but it was in London where I have lived for over 15years that a genuine interest arose through attending regular Iyengar classes. My years practising at the Iyengar centre helped me understand the fundamentals and whole importance of proper body alignment. My curious nature and thirst for knowledge led me to branch out to other schools of Yoga (Sivananda, Asthanga and Accro Yoga).
I enrolled into a 240h Teaching Diploma under the expert guidance of Doctor Elena Voyce at Teach Yoga and then qualified as a Hatha Yoga Teacher.
I taught a variety of classes (group or private led) as well as leading some creative Yoga retreats in Bali, Indonesia for a numbers of years as part of One World Retreats center.
My way of teaching is definitely dynamic with a relaxed and fun feel to it. Strong emphasis is placed upon providing a safe and nurturing environment.
To pursue a keen interest in spirituality (developed from my years of attending Raja Yoga courses with the World Spiritual University Brahma Kumaris) I joined a Meditation Course (accredited by the British Yoga Teachers’ Association B.Y.T.A) and A year training conducted by Swami Saradananda.
I also hold a diploma in teaching Yoga to Children, obtained through B.Y.T.A in the UK. As to understand children psychology better I also enrolled for a year an introductory course in Child Psychology.
« My aim is to ensure people leave inspired, energised with the impetus to integrate their practice into their daily life. »
